Osama is a facility management consultant, expert trainer, coach and speaker with 25+ years of practical experience across diversified fields of industries including Infrastructure, Real Estate, Commercial & Institutional, and Oil & Gas. He possesses a solid professional experience in Facility Management Operation & Advisory services, Projects EPC (Engineering /Procurement / Construction) Management and Projects Development (PPP, BOT, BOO etc.), accompanied by broad international exposure spanning across diverse cultural groups within MENA and Europe. Over the course of his career, Osama has managed projects, programs, and portfolios with varied in sizes and complexity. He has spent the first ten years of his career in the field of ICT (information & communication technology) Consulting and Project Management, where he has helped subsidiaries of major governmental and privately-owned organizations to update its ICT systems including professional broadcasting systems, analog & digital microwave signals transmissions, CCTV & bio recognition systems, and building services monitoring & intelligent automation systems. Then he moved into facility management where for the last sixteen years he had held various senior roles within Strategic Planning, Financial Modeling, and Projects Development for one of the large regional organizations. His focus has al- ways been on strategy execution, managing the execution of strategic initiatives and major transformational efforts that improve financial sustainability, customer experience, processes and performance improvement and operational excellence while aligning with the overall organization strategy. As an instructor, Osama is a certified instructor by the International Facility Management Association (IFMA®) and is affiliated with other several training organizations; he has conducted formal and certification courses on Facility Management, Project Management, and Strategic Management. In addition to that, he is a regular speaker at regional congresses on different topics relating to indoor air quality, utilities conservation, sustainability and building service’ O&M. Osama has a strong academic background as he holds MBA and a BSc in Telecommunication Engineering and holds several professional certifications including Facility Management Professional (FMP) from IFMA, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from EBS. Osama holds several voluntary leadership roles in Facility Management at his country where he is part of group of FM professionals working on spreading the awareness of the FM profession, standardizing the FM industry along different types of industries and is into formalizing such initiative through establishing a local chapter.
