Gareth had an international career in Marketing with 20 years experience at Unilever and 5 years at Diageo. His Unilever career included a variety of senior marketing roles up to Director level in the UK, the Gulf, East Africa and Central Europe, with responsibility for brands including Domestos, Omo and Dove. After leaving Unilever, he joined Diageo where he was responsible for building Marketing capabilities in the Africa region. This included embedding the Diageo Way of Brand Building (Brand Strategy to Communication and Activation), as well as capability assessment and coaching. More recently, Gareth has developed and delivered programmes for Shell, InterContinental Hotels, Novartis and Zain amongst others, and has run client programmes in Europe, US, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Gareth is passionate about helping people learn and develop. He has recently completed a Certificate in Coaching through Henley Business School and supports strategic and coaching projects with local charities through his association with the Cranfield Trust.
