The Internal Audit Capability Model for the Public Sector is a framework that identifies the fundamentals needed for effective internal auditing in the public sector. It reflects leading developments in governance, business and risk management, and the internal audit profession to ensure that it is relevant, useful, practical and forward-thinking. Toward this interactive and participative seminar, professionals in internal audit will: → Understand the maturity model and the internal audit role and relationship with control and risk functions. → Use the model to do a self-assessment of their organization using the six essential elements of the matrix. → Identify opportunities to leverage the model to meet the expectations of the stakeholders. During this engaging course, the participants will be able to put into practice the concepts of model, discuss best practices and leave with a comprehensive assessment tool designed to assist internal audit activities, and their stakeholders, effectively apply the model.

What language will the course be taught in and what level of English do I need to take part in an LEORON training program?
Most of our public courses are delivered in English language. You need to be proficient in English to be able to fully participate in the workshop and network with other delegates. For in-house courses we have the capability to train in Arabic, Dutch, German and Portuguese.

What is the deadline for registering to a public course?
The deadline to register for a public course is 14 days before the course starts. What does the course fee cover?
The course fee covers a premium training experience in a 5-star hotel, learning materials, lunches & refreshments, and for some courses, the certification fee and membership with the accrediting bodies.
