Day 2: Foundation of Supply Management
→ Analyze potential sources of goods or services
→ Evaluate competitive offerings to determine the overall best offer for products/service
→ Plan and communicate sourcing and supply Strategies based on Forecasting data
International Supplier Relationship Management
→ Identify opportunities and benefits for rationalizing supply base
→ Develop/manage effective relationships with suppliers
→ Develop /Implement a supplier diversity program
→ Develop new supplier qualification plans and reports to assure components, materials and suppliers meet specified requirements
→ Conduct supplier performance evaluations
→ Develop and execute supplier exit strategies
Day 3: Effective Supply Management Performance
→ Performance analysis and provide data on current and future and global/domestic market conditions
→ Develop supply forecasts in light of certain economic, competitive, technology, market and currency trends
→ Manage forecasted data with suppliers
Materials and Inventory Management
→ Design/modify logistics facility layouts and equipment designs to support business models
→ Direct traffic/distribution policies and procedures to ensure optimum flow of materials
→ Manage international transportation, invoicing and documentation functions
→ Management the resolution of delivery/receiving problems

→ Develop, measure and evaluate quality requirements to continuously improve supplier performance
→ Implement or utilize requirement planning to align supply management
→ Develop, implement, maintain and monitor the forecasting, operations planning, scheduling, and inventory control functions
Day 5: Leadership in Supply Management
→ Represent the supply management organization in decisions to the organization wide
→ Develop and implement business plans that will meet customer services
→ Develop, implement and monitor a strategic supply management plan
→ Plan/develop/provide operating polices, guidelines and procedures
→ Develop/implement changes to the organizations supply management policies
Strategic Sourcing
→ Establish and execute strategic sourcing plans
→ Establish and standardize strategic sourcing procedures
→ Identify, evaluate, select and implement technologies that support supply management functions
→ Leverage spend through identification, prioritization, development and execution strategies.
→ Conduct analysis to determine insourcing or out souring strategies
→ Create new systems and process improvements to help the organization
Risk Compliance
→ Develop, implement and manage a risk profile and strategies
→ Develop and implement a risk management and or claims management program
→ Implement supply management processes in consideration of legal issues
→ Develop/implement/maintain a database/physical filing system
→ Comply with program that prevent respond to discrimination or harassment

This highly practical and interactive course has been specifically designed for
The instructor led, competency course is for those interested in taking the CPSM exam and earning their CPSM designation or those who desire to accelerate their learning curve in the field of Procurement and Supply Management. To be eligible for the CPSM exam, participants must meet one of the following criteria:
→ Three years full-time, professional supply management experience (non-clerical, nonsupport) with a regionally accredited bachelor’s degree
→ Five years of supply management experience (non-clerical, nonsupport) without a degree


What language will the course be taught in and what level of English do I need to take part in an LEORON training program?
Most of our public courses are delivered in English language. You need to be proficient in English to be able to fully participate in the workshop and network with other delegates. For in-house courses we have the capability to train in Arabic, Dutch, German and Portuguese.
Are LEORON Public courses certified by an official body/organization?
LEORON Institute partners with 20+ international bodies and associations.We also award continuing professional development credits (CPE/PDUs) for:1. NASBA (National Association of State Boards of Accountancy) 2. Project Management Institute PDUs 3. CISI credits 4. GARP credits 5. HRCI recertification credits 6. SHRM recertification credits
What is the deadline for registering to a public course?
The deadline to register for a public course is 14 days before the course starts. Kindly note that occasionally we do accept late registrations as well, but this needs to be confirmed with the project manager of the training program or with our registration desk that can be reached at +1071 4 1075 5711 or
What does the course fee cover?
The course fee covers a premium training experience in a 5-star hotel, learning materials, lunches & refreshments, and for some courses, the certification fee and membership with the accrediting bodies.
Does LEORON give discounts?
