In his long career he’s been active as a Director of Organisational Excellence for ASQ (American Society for Quality) where he planned and established directions and execution of strategy and organizational evolution for the organization ; as a Lean Customer Value Consultat with American Family Insurance where he championed the company’s cultural evolution and successfully saved over $100.000 and reduced labour content by more than two man-years and managed daily problem-solving ; Director of Process Improvement for Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin where he spearheaded critical corporate strategic initiatives and saved over $500.000 by analysing ROI potential and increased revenue along with restructuring manufacturing operations and optimizing processes, initiated Kaizen events and decreased re-works in manufacturing operations ; Manager of Quality Processes and Continuous Improvement for The Master Lock Company where he again led a cultural evolution and developed a quality and regulatory compliance strategy for all facilities establishing a Quality First culture, mentored colleagues and decreased the time of quality problem resolutions by over 75% ; Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement at Velvac Inc. where he focused on solving issues related to accountability, RCA, supplier rejections, cross-functional team operations among others ; Senior Quality Engineer at the Brady Corporation where he led all quality and continuous improvement activities focusing on internal and external customers at the plants and special projects assigned from the director himself, conducted Six Sigma projects to establish corrective systems, where he reduced all open corrective actions by 80% and also saw to an 80% decrease in customer-generated corrective actions ; Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Manager and Manager of Continuous Improvement at Goodrich Corporation Propulsion Systems (UPCO) where he lead an organization of 4 teams validating processes, engineering for higher quality, managed ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems, meeting customer and regulatory requirements for specific aerospace products and programs, handled Corrective and Preventive Action systems. His education consists of a Master in Science in Metallurgical Engineering, Master of Business Administration in Finance, Investment and Banking, Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering. David is focused on providing greater customer value and growth to the bottom line (saved millions of dollars and thousands of labor hours) by building cultures of trust, respect, Root Cause Problem-Solving and Simplification through servant leadership. He has valuable experience transforming organizations in diverse global manufacturing, office, service, and research environments. David is an adjunct instructor and professor for two of Milwaukee’s most prestigious colleges where he lectures on Six Sigma principles and tools, Leadership Management, has trained companies on Kaizen, Problem-Solving, Process Improvement, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, ASQ Certification Preparation Courses.
